Dr. Joseph Carter

Dr. Joseph Carter is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician at T&R Clinic, caring for patients from Haltom City and across North Texas, and as far away as Oklahoma.

Born and raised in Tyler, Texas, he attended Texas A&M for undergraduate studies and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2005. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Memorial Hermann Southwest in Houston, where he met Dr. Rajneesh Reddy, then Chief Resident during Dr. Carter’s intern year. That connection eventually brought him to T&R.

He’s been with the clinic since 2008 and, in his own words, can’t imagine working anywhere else. Long before medicine, he wanted to be a veterinarian; he remains an animal lover.
