Our story

Our story

Founded by Elbert Taylor and Charles Riddle (the "T" and "R" of T&R) to bring family medicine to Haltom City. More than fifty years later, the same address, the same commitment, and a team that grew up in this community.

1970–today

Decades of care

1970

Founded by Elbert Taylor and Charles Riddle

T&R Clinic was founded by Elbert Taylor and Charles Riddle (the “T” and “R” of the practice’s name) to bring family medicine to Haltom City. Their philosophy was simple and has carried through every generation since: this clinic belongs first and foremost to the patients it serves.

1975

Dr. Suchita Reddy joins T&R

1975–2022

Dr. Suchita Reddy

Dr. Suchita Reddy joined T&R Clinic in 1975 and would go on to give 47 years of dedicated, compassionate care to the Haltom City community. Generations of families came to know her not just as their physician but as a steady, trusted presence: the kind of doctor you call by name.

She retired in September 2022. T&R Clinic remains profoundly grateful for her wisdom, conscientiousness, and decades of care for this community.

1976

A second generation takes the helm

Dr. D.S. Reddy and Dr. John McNeff stepped in as successors to the founding partners, carrying forward the practice’s commitment to family medicine. Both built illustrious careers at T&R and mentored the doctors who serve the clinic today.

1999

Dr. Beena Trivedi joins

1999–present

Dr. Beena Trivedi

Dr. Beena Trivedi joined T&R after completing her Family Practice Residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Trained originally in obstetrics and gynecology in India, she brought a unique depth of women’s health expertise to the family practice, and she has been here ever since.

2006–present

Dr. Rajneesh Reddy

In July 2006, Dr. Rajneesh Reddy joined the clinic he had known since boyhood, having spent summers helping in the lab and front office while his father, Dr. D.S. Reddy, and Dr. John McNeff cared for the community. After his Family Medicine residency at Memorial Hermann Southwest in Houston, where he served as Chief Resident, he came home to Haltom City.

2008

Dr. Joseph Carter joins

2008–present

Dr. Joseph Carter

Dr. Joseph Carter joined T&R in 2008 after meeting Dr. Rajneesh Reddy during his residency at Memorial Hermann Southwest. Born and raised in Tyler, Texas, board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Carter has built a following that reaches across North Texas, and even into Oklahoma.

2018

Anum Ali joins as Family Nurse Practitioner

2018–present

Anum Ali

Anum Ali joined T&R as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner shortly after completing her Master of Science in Nursing in late 2017. With a foundation in emergency nursing and a passion for serving underserved communities, she brought new energy and expertise to the next generation of T&R care.

2022

Dr. Suchita Reddy retires after 47 years

After 47 years of service to Haltom City, Dr. Suchita Reddy retired effective September 1, 2022. The clinic, and generations of patients who knew her, extend their deepest gratitude for her dedication, wisdom, and compassion.

2026

Caring for the next generation

More than fifty years after Elbert Taylor and Charles Riddle opened the doors, T&R Clinic still operates from 2919 Markum Drive: same community, same commitment, same belief that this clinic belongs first and foremost to its patients.

Dr. Trivedi, Dr. Reddy, Dr. Carter, and Anum Ali welcome new families today.

A lineage of care

Generations of providers

Honoring the doctors who built T&R into the practice it is today. The names on the door change. The promise, that this clinic belongs first and foremost to its patients, does not.

With gratitude to Elbert Taylor and Charles Riddle, and to Dr. D.S. Reddy and Dr. John McNeff, who shaped what T&R is today.
